Take me there...

At Metro State, students learn from faculty members, not teaching assistants. Great Professors

A focus on academic quality.

At Metro State, we don’t have anything against teaching assistants; we just don’t need them. Our faculty members teach.

We have a remarkable range of high-quality professors who are passionate about what they do. With both lifelong professors and professionals with cutting-edge experience in their fields, Metro State’s faculty is exceptionally strong.

  • 85% of our tenured and tenure-track professors hold Ph.D. or terminal degrees from top universities.
  • Adjunct professors bring a breadth and depth of real-world experience to their classes, making your education more relevant to today’s evolving world.

As our students will tell you, Metro State’s professors stretch you, but they also support you. They take the time to get to know you, mentor and motivate you.

Whether it’s painting murals off campus with Carlos Fresquez, traveling “virtually” through space in Kamran Sahami’s astronomy class, or starting an online business in Mick Jackowski’s Reputation and Brand Management marketing course, you’ll appreciate the enthusiasm and creativity of your Metro State professors.

The end result? You acquire useful, practical knowledge that employers seek.
