Department, Administrative Unit and School Identification

As Metro State establishes a consistent brand identity and image, individual logos for schools, departments and administrative units are discouraged. For this reason, standards have been established so that these individual groups can create a unique identifier utilizing approved Metro State images.

Schools, departments and administrative units can be identified by using the appropriate logo as determined by their area VP or dean.

Department logo examples include: Formal Mbird Metropolitan State College of Denver Office of Alumni Relations, Formal M Metropolitan State College of Denver Department of Music, Informal Mbird Metro State Intercollegiate Athletics, and Informal M Metro State School of Business.

Use of the informal logo on printed publications requires the full College name to be included on the same surface area as the logo appears.
